What is an oversized box?
If you’re planning to send a large box with the USPS, you’ll be charged the oversized price if your box is greater than 108 inches, but not more than 130 inches in combined length and girth. This is the largest box the USPS will ship and the weight cannot exceed 70lbs.
If you are sending a box that weighs more than 70lbs or is greater than 130 inches in combined length and girth, you’ll need to use a courier that offers specialist shipping services for large and heavy items.
