When sending parcels to Romania from another EU state then it may not be necessary to provide customs information unless shipping a restricted item. Certificate of origin is required for the clearance of textures, declaration of conformity for a variety of items. Permits and licenses - some items will require accurate documentation for import clearance. The gift value for items sent from companies and individuals to other individuals is 45 euros. Above this limit, duties may be charged. You will need to attach one original and two copies of invoices that will need to be in Romanian.
The consignee's telephone number will be required on the invoice for items over 10 Euros. The descriptions of items listed on the invoices must be specific such as- remote controlled car and not generic such as 'electronic'.Electronic cigarettes can only be shipped to Romania with an ISC contract. There are special conditions relating to plastic kitchenware. Products made in Iran are prohibited. You cannot ship seeds into Romania without a Phytosanitary Certificate.
