I get surcharge for the package without notice, so feel not comfortable, it is better to refuse if they know that overweght at beginning when I drop off

The surcharge you received was due to a handling fee because the shipment was not encased in a corrugated cardboard box, which is standard practice and aligns with UPS's handling policies for certain packaging types. Unfortunately, the drop-off location will accept packages regardless of compliance with these policies, but the surcharge is applied later during processing. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

This was perhaps the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Between the courier's lack of responsiveness and Parcel Monkey's inability to push for a resolution through for my issue, it took several MONTHS to come to closure and constant nagging by me to even get that far. While the Parcel Monkey team was pleasant enough in my dealings with them, the reality is that resolution took way longer than it should have. This will likely be my first and only transaction with Parcel Monkey.

UPS drop off was easy as pie. My label was accepted without question, my package was tracked and delivered as promised. Nice work UPS! Thanks Parcel Monkey! Some of the restrictions were confusing, but I complied with the requirements and it went smoothly.
