Slow and steady

To save $10 from USPS, I went with Parcel Monkey who used EMS. It took 42 days for a small padded envelop to get to Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Shipped April 2, 2021 and delivered today, May 14, 2021).
The tracking process and accuracy is also limited.
Not bad service, just slow.

Arrived safely and in good shape, however, took a week longer than estimated (25days instead of 8-16d). Can only track through ParcelMonkey website (no EMS courier tracking number is provided) and tracking is fairly sparse -- making it difficult to figure out if there are problems. Definitely lower cost than other couriers, but comes with a bit more anxiety and delay.

Not exactly EMS

The package arrived to UAE just fine. However, this is not an EMS service per se. The package is shipped from location to NJ via Fedex, then Fedex to the UK, and then UK to UAE via Jersey Post. It would have been faster to just ship it using USPS Priority directly to the UAE at a lower cost.

I used this because shipping was cheap (for a 20lbs box overseas). The package was delivered, but it was slow and updates were not detailed. It stopped for me when my package was delivered at the warehouse, international updates were never given to me until I asked for them two weeks later.

Note for international shipments, that EMS ships to Illinois before being forwarded onward. Adds additional time for transit.
